FAQ

How does prop hire work?
Browse our collection or send us your brief, and we’ll confirm availability and provide a quote.
Once approved, we’ll reserve the items for your dates and arrange collection or delivery.

Do I need to book in advance?
We recommend booking as early as possible – especially for larger projects or specific items.
That said, we understand the pace of production and will always try to accommodate last-minute requests.

What are your hire periods?
Hire periods are typically based on production schedules and agreed at the time of booking.
If your shoot runs over, just let us know as soon as possible and we’ll arrange an extension.

How much does it cost?
Pricing is quoted per project and depends on the items, quantity, hire duration, and any additional services required.
Get in touch with your brief, or the specific items from our catalog, and we’ll provide a tailored quote.

Do you offer set dressing or full build services?
Yes. Alongside prop hire, we offer set dressing, prop sourcing, fabrication, set design, and full build.
We can support as much or as little of your project as needed.

Can you source or make specific props?
Absolutely. If you can’t find what you need, we can source or fabricate bespoke items to match your brief.

Are props insured?
Hirers are responsible for props while in their possession, so valid production insurance is required.
We can advise on coverage if needed.

Do I need to leave a deposit?
Yes, a deposit is required for every hire, along with your insurance documents and a form of photographic ID.
If you do not have insurance documents, a deposit can be taken for the full value of the item(s) you are hiring.

What happens if something is damaged or lost?
Every hire quote includes the full value for replacement, and will be charged in case of irreparable damage.
If an item is lightly damaged, the repair cost will be passed on.

Can props be modified for a shoot?
Please check with us first. Many items can be adapted, but approval is required before any alterations are made.

Can I just hire one item?
We always welcome small hires – but depending on the value, short term small hires will likely be pickup-only,
rather than delivered to location.

Do you offer delivery and collection?
Yes, we can arrange delivery and collection to suit your schedule.
Alternatively, you’re welcome to collect and return props yourself.

Do you offer long term hires with discounts?
Any hire of more than 7 days is considered a long-term hire, and will recieve a lower day rate the longer you have it.

What is your cancellation policy?
Cancellations should be made as early as possible.
Fees may apply depending on how close to the hire date the cancellation occurs.

How do I get started?
Send us an email or give us a call with your brief, dates, any references, or list of items from our catalog.
We’ll take it from there and help bring your project to life.
